Conservative treatment covers all therapeutic methods to preserve or restore the form and function of any tooth, without replacing it with an artificial one. The methods are prevention by cleaning calculus and plaque, silanization of permanent teeth in children, restoring the integrity of a given tooth with restorative methods (seals, inlay, overlay, artistic restorations, etc.) , root canal treatment of the tooth, in inflammatory processes in the dental nerve and periodontal treatment in inflammations of the tooth-holding apparatus.
